Founded by David Orchard, Orchard Safety Services has grown from a one-person operation into a professional team of instructors who are all experienced first responders. Our staff come from backgrounds including paramedicine, firefighting, emergency rescue, and healthcare, bringing real-world expertise into every classroom. With over a decade of experience teaching first aid across Canada — from basic training to advanced courses for frontline responders — David’s career has taken him from serving communities in British Columbia to training internationally in countries such as Ukraine and Nicaragua. These experiences have shaped the values we bring to every course: professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to making lifesaving skills accessible to everyone.

Today, Orchard Safety Services proudly delivers high-quality first aid, CPR, and emergency response training to workplaces, organizations, and communities across British Columbia.
